Fossil fuel energy costs 5- 17 cents per kilowatt-hour. Solar energy costs 3-6 cents per kilowatt-hour. Going solar significantly lowers our energy costs & our carbon footprint. W/out an emergency level transition to a clean energy grid the planet will become uninhabitable.

You need to better educate yourself on the topic. It's not one vs the other, it comes down to efficiency and grid infrastructure factors.

You forgot the opportunity cost of green energy being incredibly inefficient and inconsistent.

You cannot be that ignorant.

How many gallons are you going to use building and shipping those solar panels?

the problem is not the energy itself, it's where the money ends up is the stumbling block. In my mind, oil companies had better invest in providing clean energy lest they go the way of the dinosaur.

Solar Energy ... with its ever changing new and less costly technology ... I agree ... It's a no brainer ... Biden should declare an Energy Emergency and we should be moving full speed ahead with Solar Energy.

Fossil fuel energy is always there, solar is not. At sunset it stops right when it is time to make dinner, plug in the electric car if you have one, do the laundry...... Energy storage is not ready for prime time. Solar and Wind energy not used is lost. We will get there.
