Fossil fuel energy costs 5- 17 cents per kilowatt-hour. Solar energy costs 3-6 cents per kilowatt-hour. Going solar significantly lowers our energy costs & our carbon footprint. W/out an emergency level transition to a clean energy grid the planet will become uninhabitable.

Deniers tend to skew the discussion. Like $ trillions in public subsidies to Big Fossil skewed the energy market for 50 years. Small-scale solar & wind for household use should be the aim, not large scale. Free, much cleaner energy for home & vehicles.

If we could also get the politicians to stop subsidizing fossil fuels that would be helpful.

Fossil fuel energy is always there. The sun isn't always shining, especially in Northern areas which get VERY cloudy during winter.
