Fossil fuel energy costs 5- 17 cents per kilowatt-hour. Solar energy costs 3-6 cents per kilowatt-hour. Going solar significantly lowers our energy costs & our carbon footprint. W/out an emergency level transition to a clean energy grid the planet will become uninhabitable.

There are possibly limits to the raw materials like silicon. Otherwise I am totally in favour of solar panels, wind, hydro, thermal and nuclear.

The planet might become uninhabitable for many reasons... pollution, chemicals, warfare..., exploitation of planet in general...

Solar cannot sustain the level of energy we need. It’s not enough.

Yes, but, to transition to wind, solar and nuclear before there is enough like Europe did will keep us cold and poor like Europe is. Common sense please Marianne!
