John Fetterman can beat Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania. Mandela Barnes can beat Ron Johnson in Wisconsin. Tim Ryan can beat J.D. Vance in Ohio. If Dems expand their majority in the Senate, Manchin & Sinema can no longer be used as an excuse for progressive legislation not passing.

Don't count on it. Plenty of us former liberal Dems have lost all faith in the D party. Rs flat out don't care about Labor, and D's flat out lie about being pro-labor, (except for Bernie). Biden's PEB is proof. We need a good 3rd party alternative. I'm not voting D or R, period.

There's plenty of excuses after that. The filibuster will suddenly need sixty votes like with Obama and, shoot, along came Lieberman. Go back farther to Taft Harley when they had enough excuses (70 votes) to override Truman veto and stab workers in the back. Nothin new.
