Homelessness is an inevitable consequence of trickle-down economics. Over half a million Americans are homeless but there are 16 million vacant homes here. We need a 21st C Economic Bill of Rights to break the back of a soulless economic order & put people's lives back on track

Why don't you start by taking a bunch of them into your home and then when you figure out what their problems really are we can have a more rational discussion.

I was a Homeless Outreach Social Worker. Many states dropped funding: basic in- & outpatient mental health facilities, alcohol & drug detoxes, long-term inpatient rehab centers. We need aid for those with no addiction nor mental health issues; they are not lazy, just unfortunate.

Since rights emanate from the individual and privileges are given to the individual, shouldn’t it be called a bill of economic privileges?

Blue states lead the way in homelessness, income disparities, and housing unfairness according to a few sources including the New York Times. Progressivism achieves the opposite of what it tries to “fix”. It is a statistical failure.
