I am in the process of retiring from the career I love (physician) because the system makes it impossible for me to efficiently and properly take care of my patients. ihaveanidea.us/chiphit/

That is not how it will work. You are going to have all the same structures you have now. Medicare Advantage plans are here to stay. This financing vehicle will expand to non- Medicare populations. All the national insurers will be players. It will not be what you hope for.
Americans DESERVE universal/single payer/M4A, it’s the LEAST politicians can do, some don’t have a clue what Public Service actually means

So you believe malpractice will go away?

I disagree. Hospitals, like churches, are transcendent vs businesses/Capitalism. The issues are not insurance carriers...it's that hospitals are for profit. To have universal healthcare system, you just need to pay doctors and nurses. Problem-solved.

Without cost controls the system fails And you can't have cost controls in a capitalistic system

When do we get universal healthcare?

The lobby lizards spend millions to convince Americans the opposite.
