Maybe 馃. But then sweetheart deals with friends will flourish the minute it goes out to bid. Worse than in the dept of defense 馃様. Inefficiency, long waits, choice of vendor etc etc all need to be addressed and that鈥檚 why so many are hesitant to pull this trigger

I've used universal healthcare in 4 countries and it's been between good and excellent. Free or small admin fee ($10-25) at POS and free meds. Everyone covered, including non-citizen residents. Re. taxes, on consulting work I paid 15-28%. It can be done. Just not by Dems or GOP

Yes please. I don't understand the mind that sees this and says "no thanks, I like getting overcharged for things."

I'm not so sure that's true. Plenty of "Medicare Salesperson" jobs out there. Private insurance acts as a middleman for Medicare now. What's going to stop them with universal healthcare?

Human beings that are unhealthy are more profitable to the corporations. Universal healthcare doesn't help their profits. The food, pharma and health insurance industries do not want to change the status quo and they own the Gov't to achieve that goal.

That鈥檚 why it does not exist. Insurance companies have more power and money than doctors.

Universal Healthcare comes with so many more benefits than just medical coverage. It will create a better society, more security and healthier living styles for all.
