The appropriate exercise of law enforcement authority is good. A police state is bad. Very bad. America is in the midst of deciding now which it shall be.
What’s happening this morning in Houston should send chills down the spines of every person in this country. Police in uniform packing government hearing to intimidate witnesses, advocates against police violence, and legislators voting on expanding the police budget.

New York City, capital of the world, is a bloodbath free-for-all with stabbings and muggings occurring every day with impunity. I’ll take the police state at this point, thanks. We’ll see how the public decides when Dems got thwomped in the midterms. (I wanted Bernie btw).

Intimidation by the barrel of a gun ... Our police forces need to change ... Militia members need to be removed ... Social workers need to respond to most domestic calls ... and no guns!

1/2 Read "The Dawn of Everything" by Graeber & Wengrow. Police might be community members chosen @ random annually with only office staff on Y-O-Y payroll. Police one year, next civilian; should check violence under color of law.
