You are not immune to the brain-altering deluge from institutionally controlled media sources you consume (nor am I). You seem to think most Dems are like you and most Rs are like 0.01% of Rs. The reverse can be said of most Rs. The majority have more in common than you think.

Your error is to believe authoritarianism lies along a Red/Blue divide. Everyone outside social media knows that authoritarianism comes from the elites, both Red and Blue.
