Yep.
Former US President Jimmy Carter turns 98 today. His thoughts on US-China relations may surprise you: "Since we normalized relations with China in 1979, the US has been in constant war. China has not been in combat with anyone." "[The US] is the most warlike country on earth."

Jimmy Carter reminds us about something very important here. Billions have been spent and thousands of young americans have died in those conflicts. The tragedy is that those interventions have almost always caused much more harm than it has prevented.

This is why I loved Trump. No new wars. Biden gets in and we're right back at it.

...they had previously annexed Tibet and Burma, stretched themselves to the Himalayas, they'd already shored up their borders to natural boundaries. Now, it is all financial. Thievery of intellectual property, mining of Africa--war by other names. It kills and is combat, too

Eh, I like him but not sure he is 100% correct here. Yes we get involved in things we shouldnt; Iraq, but we also get involved in things we should; Afghanistan after Bin Laden, Ukraine now. We are expected to defend rights. Think China would sign up to help those in need? Nope.
