In 1979, President Carter had solar panels installed at the White House. These were later laughed at, derided and removed by officials of Reagan Administration.

@KariLake He was right & brave when they were wrong on many issues. Can we do the same? Tell Judge Edward Davila that what he did during Theranos trial against the patient is an assault on the health of all Americans and reason enough to remove him from the bench w/o honor.

Birthday or not, this guy is making idiotic claims about unspecified "trillions" of dollars of fossil fuel subsidies. I'll take a pass on honoring him. He could at least make an effort to be a serious, fact-based commentator.

The only Democrat President in the last 45 years that rationale people could argue the best person for job given who they were running against was President. The best thing to say about Carter is he was better the Ford.
