As important as it is to achieve universal healthcare, we also have to ask ourselves why we have so many more chronic illnesses than they do in other advanced countries. 1/2

As long as Big Food and Big Ag dominate our farming and food supply, chemical companies are allowed to poison our green spaces and fossil fuel and defense industries pollute our environment, no healthcare system will ever be able to get ahead of the damage they cause. 2/2

It's going to be a lot easier to ask those kinds of questions and actually get accurate answers and solutions after we get universal healthcare.

Hello! Canadian here! Living in the land of universal heath care! The reason is because when you make healthcare completely free, it opens the system up to fraud, promotes unnecessary treatment of minor problems, and overall reduces access to primary care.

That’s easy. People don’t take responsibility for their own health. Smoking, eating to much, bad food decisions, sedentary lifestyle…all adds up to bad health. 💯 self inflicted.

Look no further than the ingredients on your food and beverage containers, what you spray on your lawns, clean your homes with, what Big Ag sprays on your food, etc.... We are living in a poisoned society and many of us our poisoning ourselves.
