First, we don't have a democracy. Second, will absolutely do NOT get to influence lawmakers every two years. Because of the way our elections are structured, our votes don't matter at all.

There’s so much money in politics b/c the gov’t has so much power over markets. It make lobbying profitable. Get the gov’t out of the economy and there will be no reason to lobby.

And let’s make it illegal to allow Soros to intervene in other citizens’ local elections while we are at it. Elections are bought.

Even if money was taken out, as long as those corporations have a way to "reward" politicians for their corporation or politicians can go on endless book/speaking tours things will never be right.

The reason we have massive amounts of money in "our democracy" is that "our democracy" is not and never was intended to be anything but a country governed by its "owners" - as explained by "our" first SC Chief Justice, John Jay.
