The last 40 years of neoliberal corporate dominated governance in the United States has been a spectacular failure.
"The United States ranks forty-first, just below Cuba." The rankings include "the absence of poverty and hunger, good health and education, gender equality, clean air and water, and reduced inequality." cdreams.news/3xtoTe0

The coming years under right-wing fascist control could be brutal. Only look at women in need of abortions. So why not spare us the attacks on neoliberalism until we got the GOP and every single Republican defeated, posing no longer a threat. 🙏

You are mistaken. It has been a great success, because their goal was never to improve people's lives but to deepen the economic gap between the ruling and the working class to perpetuate hegemony and global capitalism. The system is not broken but functioning as intended.

Neoliberalism's only success has been masking itself a capitalism. Neoliberals are equally anti-democratic & anti-captialsit. They use their sponsored politicians to pass protective laws for them. Neoliberals are as allergic to accontablity as competition.

Yes, conservative / "neoliberal" corporate dominated governance has been been a spectacular failure along certain dimensions, but surely not all. Playing with those metrics, the various potential dimensions of evaluation, is what makes it possible.

From another POV It was actually a huge success. They widened the gap between the elite ruling class and commoners like intended…

Note, per capita income in the US is about $66,000, whereas in Cuba it's $8,600. This roughly tracks the profoundly appalling level of wealth wasted in the US. Here waste means wealth locked up in the hands of very few people, while basic needs go unmet.
