If corporations have all the power, then the average citizen basically does not. Power in the hands of the average citizen is the point of a free democratic society. Corporations having too much power, then, is a threat to our democracy. People are waking up. Enough is enough.

How skillfully you ignore the government-corporate partnership thats at the root of all this. I believe it was Amazon advocating for 15$ federal minimum wage. I wonder if its because it would wipe out their competition in places that are not California or NY…

One we are a republic not a democracy, that's why we have power. Corporations have this power because we handed it to them. We have allowed our government to fund them, bail them out and release them from taxes, while we open our wallets to them.
