There should be a Presidential Commission and/or Congressional hearings on the state of policing in the US. Police training, indiscriminate & negligent use of lethal force, and infiltration by white supremacist groups. Government turning a blind eye to this is unacceptable.

You are making serious charges Marianne. Do you have actual evidence of infiltration of law enforcement by white supremacists? If you do, then turn them in. Stop tweeting and take action.

should also be a commission to identify the source of the SCOTUS leak. unprecedented action and the national media completely ignores it.

Need non-profits and social services to work in conjunction with the police. As model look to NCOSE's advice via Dr Stephany Powell (once awarded Woman of the Year by the California State Assembly but now in D.C.) on police training in response to prostitution & sex trafficking.

i doubt they’re turning a blind eye to it but i whole heartedly agree it needs to happen now. any organization that is payed for by the citizenry is subject to audit, this should include DOD

What I’m always amazed by is the contrast between policing in the military and on the civilian side. In the military you could get in trouble for being unprofessional on a traffic stop or using inappropriate force etc. but civilian police are rarely ever held accountable 🤔

You do understand that it was Biden that authored the Omnibus crime bill during the Clinton Administration that exploded the prison population.

I absolutely agree! Change needs to occur across all aspects of civilization but I think this is one of the first places we start. If we can't trust those who are supposed to protect us then we aren't going to make much of an advance on any other front.
