There should be a Presidential Commission and/or Congressional hearings on the state of policing in the US. Police training, indiscriminate & negligent use of lethal force, and infiltration by white supremacist groups. Government turning a blind eye to this is unacceptable.

Portland has been under a DOJ policing abuse settlement agreement since 2014, and they've largely ignored it. Under Trump, secret federal troops were even sent in to augment abuses by the city police, including beatings and street abductions. #defundthepolice #fundcivilization
