GOP efforts to limit abortion rights have less to do with concern for the life of the unborn and more to do with a desire to control women.
Hannity: I have it on good authority that Republicans in the Senate will bring up a national abortion law sometime this week which will have mandated time of 15 weeks

I’m a 72, life long Republican. I support a woman’s right to choose. Several of my family and friends do not agree with me. I can tell you , none of them are in to controlling women. Your statement is YOUR opinion of Republicans and not necessarily a fact.

and the Left's criticism of the Constitution and Supreme Court have less to do with serving the public than it does controlling the public. just saying.

That is not true. Everything has to do with saving babies life and not moms killing them

What's worse than being against abortion is nearly every Republican voted against ensuring the right to contraception.

Marianne Deborah! You're the Arbiter of what's in other people's minds? Do you have an empirical reference for such a queerish, outlandish statement? Maybe it would be wise to count to 100 before firing off such a declaration as this?

Can't stand blanket statements like that from people I respect so highly. What you say may be true of many politicians and some zealots, but it is a subset. Many really don't realize the impact to a right. It is part of their personal culture there is no "choice."

In Europe were abortion laws are based on nuance and compromise there is nothing unusual about a mandated time around 15 weeks. And nobody sees this as a desire to control women.

Their strategy, if we Rational Beings can understand such BS, must be to install the fear of "keep your baby-killin hands off my daughter(s)!" In pathetically irrational voters.
