It remains to be seen if Biden actually intends to be an impartial arbiter or if he'll do what Reagan did to the air traffic controllers. Here's hoping he listens to his better angels on this issue.

Exactly right! My logic is that there's no such thing as completely passive income. Investors might be passive but that does not mean that hundreds of people are hard at work trying to earn a decent living and a decent paycheck mean investors do nothing but sit and wait.

Stock buybacks were once illegal. They were considered stock price manipulation. Fast and dirty was for execs to fatten their incomes. We need to make them illegal again.
