The body can take a lot of injury and sickness as long as the immune system is healthy. Our civilization can take a lot of injury and sickness too, as long as enough of us actively become immune cells doing what we can to heal the wounds in our midst.

Bodies die and return to the earth Marianne. Civilizations also come and go, and after a period of time new associations arise. Whether our civilization lives or dies soon or later is no concern for the planet. It will joyously continue till it’s source consumes it.

I think civilization is more like a colon. We must find a balance that keeps us regular not constipated nor diarrheal.

The immune system, subsystem of the endocrine system, are chronically attacked. Effectively PTSD. Sets us up to be vulnerable to induced social hysterias. Like Stockholm Syndrome. We're in a multigenerational Bank heist gone terribly wrong. Sky Captain wrong.
