We don’t just need policy change, we need systems change. We don’t just need the amelioration of stress, we need fundamental economic reform. The loan forgiveness is good but we should see it as just the beginning. This is a moment to be heartened but not a moment to slow down

I agree! Blue collar workers should pay the debts for the affluent children of the upper middle class. Affluent children grew accustomed to a certain lifestyle, the uneducated should pay more so affluent children of wealth can afford to live lives their parents would be proud of!

Responsible people are screwed over every single day by insurance companies, Big Pharma, Big Food, chemical companies, the NRA, Big Oil and defence contractors. Responsible people are not screwed over by forgiving those college loans.

The *proposed* spending to bail out lending institutions, devalues the dollar, which is a tax on the poorest Americans. The argument that the working class (overwhelmingly Trump Supporters) is screwed over by everyone is a bad argument to support screwing them again.
