“If they give it to the poor they call it a handout; if they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy.” - Martin Luther King Jr.
Why is it only a “handout” when people are in need? When we give the rich a $1,900,000,000,000 tax cut, did anyone call it a handout? When the House passed an $840,000,000,000 military budget, did anyone call it a handout? But canceling student debt is a handout? What a joke.

It’s called a REBATE when you’ve given more to the system than you’re getting back. 🤦🏻‍♂️ the poor do not contribute to the system. The rich however employ 1000s and own businesses, contributing a healthy tax base to the government. Educate yourself.

I dont get how people are so stupid. As things are now, they are pretty messed up aint they? So obviously something different needs to be done. Yet they go and bitch about any aid that goes to the people. Bunch of morons. Tuition is a scam, overpriced and predatory loans

Follow the money. That is what it's always about. Follow the money. Who has it. Who doesn't. And who will do anything to keep it.

Allowing people to keep their own money isn't "giving" anything. Your comparison is bad, and you should feel bad.
Republican talking points are Just words sprinkled w/grifter-fairy dust. No truth, no facts or evidence, not logically coherent. They are a party of Bullies & Grifters. #UnseatThePutschettesNow

We all require more wealth distribution when we understand that power we have inside to create and manifest prosperity and this we all deserve to do well and be educated either by scholarships our parents paying or free education which exists in Italy….

subsidies lower consumer costs, this action does nothing to lower college costs and in fact will likely allow costs to continue spiraling upwards. and the examples you cited were legislated by Congress not imposed by executive fiat. unconstitutional and a bad idea.
