Why do some people think kindergarten through 12th grade is reasonable public education but anything beyond that is getting something for nothing? It’s reasonable govt investment to support people going as high in their education including technical school as they’re able to go.

Don't temp Conservatives. The GOP is openly attacking the department of education. Next thing you know they'll be attacking education itself, saying parents should educate their own kids and instill their own beliefs and "alternate facts" in their children.

You should be able to function and get a job with a high school education. That should be the bare minimum. Our public schools have failed us. The answer is not more taxpayer money

Get the federal government out of it and I'm open to ideas. Only once we get the money out of Washington will there be any real solutions.

Grade school was only reasonable when they attended. Put a school mill up for vote and you’ll find out that many of these same people oppose having their property tax increased to pay for other people’s kids. It’s particularly hard in “snow bird” retirement areas in the south.

Government officials cannot be trusted with the property maintenance of anything, add education to the growing list.

Scholarship for top 10%! Free education is already available per "Good Will Hunting" (not a joke, FACT!!)

Education at highest level and quality, Ph.D. included, could be made available to anyone on the planet for "free" -cost of a basic computer and downloaded information & tests. That would reduce the Universities to reserch institutions with licencing authority. #FreeEducation
