Why do some people think kindergarten through 12th grade is reasonable public education but anything beyond that is getting something for nothing? It’s reasonable govt investment to support people going as high in their education including technical school as they’re able to go.

It’s because the same people raging against student debt forgiveness are the same people who rage against all public education. It’s literally the same demographic.

I agree but then we need to change how payment for college/tech school is handled for everyone right from the get-go. Years ago a high school diploma was all one needed to get going as an adult. That ship sailed a long time ago.

Not the same thing. Bad analogy.

I'd go even further and create a system of paid scholars to help to inform federal policies and national public school curriculum, informed also by Sociology rather than often completely wrong Economists.

Have you ever questioned why Joe Biden made sure student loan debt could never be forgiven under bankruptcy?

Probably because it's not government supported it's taxpayer supported. I can think of a million other things I'd rather do with my money than pay for someone else's education.

Anything to favors the rich is what they want. Universal Public education undermines class privilege so they are constantly working to diminish it.

because it benefits a certain group of people very much if they convince their voters that higher education is unnecessary or even bad
