A little bit of a change here and a little bit of a change there is not fundamental economic reform. As long as the underlying premise is that if corporations do well then the country does well, then corporations might win but the people will lose.

Yes, and Voting Reform is a prerequisite to economic reform. Until political incentives are aligned with people, politicians won't care.
So let's push the solution, @marwilliamson. A switch to using a combination of Nonpartisan Open Primaries and RCV would make the difference in making democracy work for people again. A great example of this is Alaska's system and Nevada's potential Final Five Voting system.

OK. Fine. I will accept that. Let's make the Corporations hire EVERYBODY and pay each employee a living wage ( about $ 35 an hour ). I could use a good part time job.

You know corporations are not all huge entities. Every business owner forms a legal entity to operate, whether a corporation, LLC, etc.
