The reason they don't want to cancel the college loan debt, give universal health care or near free college tuition has little to do with economics. They don't want to do them because it would empower people... and empowering people would undercut the corporatist establishment

No new wealth is created when debt is cancelled. It just raises the asking price on existing assets. Those with cancelled debt will buy those assets from us with the new loans you'll be taking out at higher prices that include the "cancelled" debt. You will fill our bags.

True. Hell, I keep asking politicians if they will at least just double FAFSA, and I literally never get a response. I thought even politicians liked FAFSA because it's a merit based system. If you do't keep a good GPA, you don't get the money. Worked for me.
