The reason they don't want to cancel the college loan debt, give universal health care or near free college tuition has little to do with economics. They don't want to do them because it would empower people... and empowering people would undercut the corporatist establishment

Yeah, because knowing where the money will come from is the least of our worries 馃檮 What鈥檚 wrong with paying your own way? Working for a living and buying an education to make more money? All this need for free stuff is gross. Do something for yourself!

That's nonsense. There are different reasons for opposing these things, but it really comes down to money. It's not about not "empowering" people.

Get votes, Democrats will dangle student loan relief like a carrot to get votes in the midterms then drag it out until 2024 presidential election. Democrats did it with DACA in 2012 we voted for Obama and full democrat control they just kept dangling DACA until they lost majority

Too naiive. The reason NEITHER side likes to solve these issues is once they are done that group of voters never come out again to vote. Do you think the young vote will come out and vote if student debt is taken care of before mid term elections?

You are an idiot. Why don't you have one of your Squad friends write a damn bill, that then becomes a law when the POTUS signs it. It takes an act of Congress, not an EO.

Guess what, people with degrees rise up in the corporate world. Why blame the corporations for kids that choose expensive universities out of state. It is a status symbol nowadays to say oh I went here. It doesn't help you at all once you are employed.
