Yeah, I think that was his point. Although people think of the word "career" as applying to a long-term area of employment which is the distinction. Wisdom from the past: The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.

I'm pretty sure that's what he is saying.
I don't like this language though. It's almost like when SAHMs call themselves "full-time moms." But my Mom worked full-time and was also a Mom 24/7/365. Working Moms are just as good as women who don't work.

let's say, it's a career when taken seriously. Otherwise, no promotion to big Xmas meetings, GrandMothership & GreatGrandMothership status. Same goes for Fatherhood. But can't say that loud in 2022...
