It’s an odd and aberrational chapter in American history that so many who are harmed the most by a corrupt and unjust system are fooled into doing so much to defend it.

The system is certainly corrupt. Unfortunately, the people tasked with exposing corruption are participants in that corruption. Perhaps they’re unaware. Maybe they think it’s for a noble cause, and therefore justified. Either way, the corrupt operate with impunity, for the moment

These people have the belief that Capitalism and Americana are one in the same. There’s a strong sense of Nationalism at play. It’s very important that we work to undo this damage by vehemently separating being American from being Capitalist.
