capitalism that isnt unfettered simply buys politicians to take off the restraints. capitalism that isnt unfettered is just on its way. same with crony capitalism. it is just capitalism. it is a system based on a very few getting very rich of the work of the many

I understand that argument, I just don’t buy it. Regulations make all the difference. I support hybrid systems like those in most European countries.

You may disagree, but capital itself is defined by the unconditional pursuit of profit and accumulation. The trajectory of regulatory capture and the steadily increasing control of global decision making is not accidental. It is the essential growth path of capital long term.
