No it isn’t. Facebook has to comply with the law. You don’t have a right to use Facebook to discuss a crime and have those messages protected

People, if you want any privacy, you must use encrypted apps where the provider does not have the key. Facebook would have had no choice, but you have a choice - don't trust them with private matters.
