The mental health crisis is a symptom of a deeper cause, and the system that’s the cause of that symptom trying to distract us by saying how much they care about mental health is part of the gaslighting that’s at the heart of the problem. 3/3

This was one of the biggest arguments for UBI. Unfortunately, there's no way our current system allows for it. Let's come together and put our energy into prioritizing changes to a system that would make our politicians accountable to people. Let's put voting reform first.

We live in a democracy where voter/election information is sold to the highest bidder. There is no mystery as to why we have the politicians we do. I plan to change that - ask me how.

Our prisons are being used as mental hospitals and every so often they bus one of these inmates downtown in some city without as much as a handshake. It was Reagan who let lose all the patients from hospitals in the 1980's.

I agree with a lot of this. Our 3rd world dictator gini-coefficient grade, is destroying our middle to lower quintile families. Though, I do think psychological expansion can help. Teenagers, especially of single parents, and those just released from prison, are two areas.

Don’t forget about the education system. It still operates on antiquated principles and has become a giant industry that benefits adults more than children. It is a “do what we tell you” system that destroys the individual initiative that’s essential for democracy.
