Then let’s go down trying

It takes a revolution of the people. It takes working class people uniting and overthrowing the capitalist system that oppresses us. We will go down trying, but elections do nothing for our material conditions. Trying is bloody, are you ready for that?

I don’t see it the way you do

Too bad for that, the way I see it is through the lens of history. No bourgeoisie election has helped workers, not a single one. Only through revolt and revolution is any progress made. Reforming will only ever be eroded to meaningless symbolism. Look at the new deal.

It has become meaningless as it has been rolled back over the generations. It used to be about dignity now it is only scraps. Not a single reform has kept that promise.

Just to be clear, I did not say that it was meaningless symbolism when it was first established. It has been degraded over generations to mean people living on cat food and in sheds, have you ever met someone that only has SSI and welfare to live on?
