I'm 56 years old & have had diminished hearing for close to a decade. While on Medi-Cal & unemployed during COVID, I was able to get a free hearing aid. It's life changing. I almost cried of relief/joy the 1st day. Ppl should not be priced out of hearing, vision & dental care.
Lots of people on Twitter probably don’t realize what it would mean to millions of elders to have Medicare expanded to cover hearing.
What glasses are to younger people, hearing aids are to a lot of older people.

There are millions of people who, without hearing aids or glasses, can no longer work the jobs they had. To deny them such things is to actually take *away* from the economy.
We stimulate the economy by helping people thrive, not by making it hard for them.
