Lots of people on Twitter probably don’t realize what it would mean to millions of elders to have Medicare expanded to cover hearing. What glasses are to younger people, hearing aids are to a lot of older people. Thank you Bernie for trying

Hearing well is so important for elderly. It can prevent unnecessary falls. Their mental status suffers when they can’t hear.

It's not gone forever. It's just not part of this bill so as not to derail the fragile coalition that was worked on to pass even this. You won't get Manchinema on board with more spending. So we pass this now and win more Senate seats to make these expansions possible.
