We have to stop this insanity. Vote these people out at every possible turn. And yes, they are GOP.
Tennessee has introduced a bill to deputize "qualified" gun owners for exactly such purposes. washingtontimes.com/news/202…

It’s not really different from California law, which empowers armed citizens to intervene if they find themselves in the middle of a violent crime when they’re not the victim. California is hardly a GOP hotbed.

That’s different and you know it

Ever notice the most gun violence happens where there is the most gun control? Look in the mirror for the insanity.

States have the right to pass exactly these sorts of laws. If you don’t like it, don’t go there.

Gun control activists argue that the bill, which would allow citizens with a valid enhanced handgun carry permit to BRING THEIR GUNS INTO PUBLIC PLACES regardless of other laws or rules, deputizes untrained citizens to potentially TERRORIZE AND SHOOT INNOCENT PEOPLE.

In 1881 Tombstone, Arizona required visitors to check their guns …The Clanton brothers and the McLaury brothers refused and were shot dead by the Earps and Doc Holiday … Tombstone, Deadwood, Dodge City and Abilene all had something in common ... Strict Gun Control Laws!

Budget scheme pretending to be Law and Order... If this gets established, Indiana will try it next...

Tennessee already has conceal-carry laws but very strict laws regarding who can carry firearms in gun-free zones, like schools. This bill doesn't say anything about arresting robbers in Walmart. It allows legal gun owners with extra training to carry in places like schools.
