Well folks here it is 🧵 The votes coming in today brought us closer, but not close enough. We have an almost 5k vote deficit and almost 10k votes left. It’s insurmountable I am incredibly proud of our team. They put in countless hours of organizing 1/

In particular I must acknowledge my ‘hand of the candidate’ Ben Karpelman @snocialism I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime I also have to acknowledge @CMArchibald who has worked with me for almost 2 years now (since Delaware ‘20). No finer copy writer exists 2/

I want to thank my fellow Washingtonian candidates @RebeccaforWA and @ElectGallardo for continued solidarity throughout this cycle We ran for the same reasons: to give voice to those whose voices are drowned out by corruption We will continue to advocate for justice 3/

We challenged the most corporate owned and by some measures most conservative Democrat in the WA House delegation He cynically cast himself as progressive and grassroots while taking 60% of his funding from PACs Corporate Democrats usurping progressivism is the norm now 4/

I want to be clear: I do not endorse Rick Larsen He’s been a terrible representative for 22 years and I’ve wanted him gone for at least 17 of those I wish more voters had taken the time to read how eminently shitty and anti-progressive he is CallForCongress.com/Larsen 5/

Don’t take that as me saying don’t vote for him. You should probably vote for him if you’re gonna vote. The Republican is a climate denying trans hating fascist But Rick doesn’t need my endorsement and for me to give it would soil my entire message and integrity 6/

Here’s some good news: we’ve got 24.1% of the Dem / left vote. If we’d had that in 2020 we would have gone through Also, we beat out the Republicans in Snohomish and San Juan counties, and came within a hair in Island county But the addition of rural Whatcom and Skagit hurt 7/
