So outrageous.
The last time the federal minimum wage was increased was 13 years ago today. It's now worth 27% less than it was on July 25, 2009. There is no state in the country where a full-time, minimum wage worker can afford a one-bedroom apartment.

In Capitalism, profit comes first (low wages means more profit), and everything else a very distant second.

Funny…as in peculiar…because it’s a crying out loud situation😭😭😭…yet, besides getting oil from Iraq to China/India…the gentrification/privatization of Iraq/Afghanistan is a complete failure compared to the Mission Accomplished going on in the U.S. ❤️🇺🇸🌎🙏🏽

But Marianne, how else would the government keep a tab on people? They need people dependent on the system. We’re much easier to control that way.

I think that any business that was trying to hire workers these days, and only offered to pay them minimum wage, would have a very hard time finding anybody to take the jobs.

Agreed. The very concept of a government-set wage is antithetical to the Constitution.
