One day the American people are going to rise up against this.
$2.3 billion for climate breakdown, $800 billion for the military.

We're out of time--now. "One day" we'll realize too late, that we really weren't going to be picked up and taken care of by our Leaders, damned poor substitutes for Mom and Dad; they aren't even *bad* Mom and Dad--they are what in TA are called "demon parents."

It’s the 11th hour but it’s not midnight yet. Churchill said you can always count on Americans to do the right thing after they have exhausted every other option. We often get there late but when we do get there we slam it like nobody’s business. We’re going to get there soon.

Churchill was also a drunken racist, to be fair.

I guess I don’t get why those with larger platforms aren’t using it to organize massive protests… at least something like Firedrill Fridays… direct action is the only thing that makes sense for a while now…

War over OPINIONS of each other, race, religion, women, climate, oil, ideology, human rights, animal rights, health care, the right to eat, be educated, safe without guns, money (all artificial human constructs only humans fight about)..... OR: one tin soldier rides away.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say: This was their finest hour. We need to make sure of that final hour.
Make sure our final hour is our finest. Stop war against everything.
The song's message is that human greed and violence is futile - a "tin soldier" is a miniature toy soldier, representing the inhuman aspect of the pursuit.
I bet even Winston the bulldog would be very disappointed at the state of America rn. The right thing should never be the last option. Greed has consumed America and it will be its demise. You can't destroy Iron only its own rust can do that...and America's rust is its greed.
