In 1942 FDR signed an Emergency Price Control Bill. Govt did that when they put people’s lives & livelihood before corporate profits Our govt today lets people die rather than exert any control over Ins/Pharma and suffer hi gas prices rather than exert any control over Big Oil.

Price controls are always disastrous—they only create new problems, black markets—and prices don’t cause inflation. Feudalism, Private Federal Reserve Cartel Feudalism causes inflation.

Even in the 70’s there were price freezes to stop the greed during inflation. But joe and congress don’t seem to recall this even though many of them were in congress back then.
