In 1942 FDR signed an Emergency Price Control Bill. Govt did that when they put people’s lives & livelihood before corporate profits Our govt today lets people die rather than exert any control over Ins/Pharma and suffer hi gas prices rather than exert any control over Big Oil.

Ahh yes 1942 the good ole days of booming economic growth and prosperity. Back then young people would go to tour Europe in droves. Now it costs an arm and a leg just for a holiday weekend in Paris.

What happened to the Dem party? FDR stood up to Republicans & corporations. He laughed at their attempts to label him a socialist. He passed the New Deal & was our most popular Prez. But Dems are so afraid now. They let Republicans control the narrative. We need to change that!
