Why is Joe Manchin the Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, given that he stands for everything such a Committee should protect us from? @chuckschumer

He’s in energy pocket
I believe you answered your own question.
Managed desperation. To make sure people keep voting “D” without asking questions.
It's not about industry or politics, it's representing his constituents who are for what all of you are against. It's amazing how someone actually listens to the people who elected them instead of doing what they want regardless of what's in favor in their district
The man OWNS A COAL MINE. The Dems are a cartoon.
Because unfortunately, he is not an outlier of the Democratic Party he is the norm, which is why there is no consequences or real criticism for his actions from the party. We must stop voting for Dems who take corporate money
The rot goes deeper than we like to admit...
This is not new lol silly kids
The question answers itself. "Why is Joe Manchin the Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee" Because: "he stands for everything such a Committee should protect us from"
Manchin shouldn’t be in charge of a lemonade stand. A broken, empty soul.
