An unregulated market has done more to create inflation than has anything else. It leaves us in a situation where we have have no capacity to absorb an emergency, with all sacrifice left to the average person to just deal with.

Markets should be regulated ... the nature of unfettered Capitalism leaves little concern for the welfare of their employees ... or the people who buy their products.

We have to put our institutions to work to improve the livelihood and quality of life of all citizens to create a safe peaceful and harmonious society. Unfettered capitalism and corrupt money politics do not fit the bill!

Government intervention. The market is 180° from being unregulated. You have artificial rates driving money into the market. Nothing has done more to create inflation and human death than the demonization of fossil fuels. Oil is an input for everything. Including food.
