An unregulated market has done more to create inflation than has anything else. It leaves us in a situation where we have have no capacity to absorb an emergency, with all sacrifice left to the average person to just deal with.

We do not have an "unregulated market". Our market place is regulated to protect the wealthy. An unregulated market would be economic natural selection, or anarchy. Capitalism is just a word they use to justify policies that protect the wealthy.

All depends on who is doing the regulating. Our entire system of govt and the Fed (printing the fiat currency) are highly corrupted. The USA is BK. The $USD as the world reserve currency is coming to an end. TPTB are running humanity through the ringer.

Sorry Marianne, printing too much money created the issue. Less regulation is what we need. Also FDR in '32 said we need to cut the Federal Govt by 25%. That stands today. We need to cut the federal government and is ridiculous spending!!!
