It's not enough to tax the wealthy, we need to recognize and promote sustainable economic systems. Centrists greatest fear is the collapse of capitalism. That's why they hate the left more than fascism.

Delivering on the promise of democracy depends first and foremost on convincing others voters to use it to pursue sensible goals, and that depends on doing the hard work of dealing intellectually with bad economics in the conservative style, bad religion, and racism.

And we must know that at the root capitalism is always antidemocratic. It's baked in the system.
