What the WH calls “out of step with the mainstream of the Democratic Party” is what’s “in step” with the Democratic Party principles of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the New Deal. The corporate Dems are the ones who hijacked the party.

Hillary had such absolute control of the DNC that even after her disastrous loss to Trump in 2016, she was able to purge all progressive voices from their ranks. It's been the Hillary Party for many years. It's how she'll name herself the 2024 Democratic Candidate for President.
