We need younger people to get involved in government. We need term limits so there's always fresh new ideas coming in, and so that incumbents don't get so influenced by lobby dollars.

They were men at that age. They didn’t wear pajamas to work or behave like children

I bet their parents' and grandparents' generation were tut-tutting about how those hot-headed young people had no loyalty to the Crown or respect for tradition and put forth all those wild and crazy ideas.

Thanks I never looked at their ages so directly. Matured in that society young. Like they r doing in Ukraine. War strips youth fast. I wanted my girls to have a childhood but to also mature. Difficult balancing act.

1-The life expectancy of men in 1776 was only 38. 2-Some Fathers are left off the list, like Ben Franklin, age 69. 3-The Constitution wasn't written til 10 yrs later+the average age of the 39 men who signed+shaped the law it was 42, which is still pretty young in today's time.

Has anyone verified these posted ages? Or is it like most often today …you see it and believe it. My goodness.
People grew up fast in those days and grew old fast in those days.
