Amazing to see so many people don’t understand what average means when it comes to life expectancy. Low expectancy means a lot of people died while a certain part of population still got old.

Not really when you consider infant mortality rates and the average life span of an adult male. For Bonus points, How old were these people when they actually held elective or appointed federal offices? Most were in their 40s/50s.
