Letting an 18 year old boy buy an assault weapon is insane and the country that allows it to happen isn't free. It's a country tyrannized by gun manufacturers and far right extremists who use the 2nd Amendment to shield their hatred of those who do not see the world as they do.

Y'all want 16y/o to vote... 18 y/o have the right to marry, die in the military, drive.... buy a home if they have the job for it... It's not the age, it's the accessibility. But y'all just keep pointing out the age... No public citizens should be able to buy AR-15s

Until the fear is replaced, nothing much will change. And if it does change a bit for the better- it most likely won’t stick.🎈

The tyranny you speak of is the overstory. The understory is that what's going on is baked into American identity. "It's a free country and I can do what I want." But must we? And what happens when this slogan synchs up with personal pathology? Here we are.

Stop calling them "Assault Weapons" if you want to be taken seriously.

Letting anyone, let alone an 18 yr old, buy an assault weapon is insane. The general public does not need and should never have assault weapons. #GunControlNow

Sending an 18-year-old to war when they can't even buy a beer is insane too.

An 18-year-old is hardly a boy anymore. This man can drive an automobile or fly an airplane, vote in the general election and be held accountable as an adult in a criminal court. These tasks require a hell of a lot more judgment than handling and firing a rifle.
