OK, the options are: try to fix government that is so inherently flawed that it is easily taken over by an extreme minority (who cheated their way into power) OR finally admit that it is TOO LATE to be fixed after 240 years of world wide change in population, technology, etc.?

IMHO a realization of the truth is, we, USA since 1836 have NEVER been a Democracy (except 1 or 2 days a year), but a OLIGARCHY that has since 1980 grown much worse every year. The first step toward a cure is realizing what the truth is.
